Kia Motors recalls 56,000 cars due to brake fault
From:ReutersJune 16, 2010
Kia Motors, South Korea's No. 2 automaker, on Tuesday announced a recall of 56,000 Kia Cee'd models made in 2008-2009 in Slovakia because of problems with the brake unit, the firm's Slovak subsidiary said.
Kia Motors, which operates an assembly plant in the northern Slovak town of Zilina that makes the Cee'd and Sportage models, has sold more than 300,000 of the Cee'd model over the past three and a half years.
